The Cotton Gin was eventually converted to a storage facility for grain (milo).

The corrugated tin building housed equipment for the production and storage of pellet size (range cubes) cattle feed.

The original power plant was a ship engine.  In later years it was replaced by a
Caterpillar diesel engine.

The facility was operated for many years under the guidance of Mr. Louis C. Drost.
